Words don’t mean anything. At least, to me. To an extent, sure they do. Words can hurt, they can heal… but in the long run, you can say all you want, only for it to mean nothing. I can say I like something, I can say I care about something, I can say I don’t care about something, I can say anything I want and whatever I feel like saying, but my actions just prove what I say. Anyone can tell me anything they like, but they don’t necessarily have a meaning. You can tell me you care about me, but honestly, do you? You can say you’ll always be there, but honestly, are you? You can say you hate me, but we’re just joking around. You can call me a failure, but my actions prove you wrong. 

I don’t know what I’m trying to get at. I’m just fucking tired of all this bullshit.

Words mean everything. Every word and line you spit encapsulates a certain feeling or thought in the spur of a moment and therefore has a meaning at one point. The fact that someone’s words can soak into your thoughts and emotions in the slightest sense proves that it has meaning. When someone tells you they “love you” or “miss you” or “is going to care for you” and makes a “promise to do so,” they do mean it in the context of their intention. Words have meaning because they make an impact, they just don’t have to be true. True or not, the meaning behind those words stems from emotions and feelings which over time changes. It just means at one point, those words meant something for a certain intention and now it doesn’t. I can call you a “failure” and your actions may prove me wrong, but did the meaning behind failure spur you to succeed?

To be honest, everyone on tumblr saying “words don’t mean anything,” they do, otherwise, you wouldn’t be blogging about something that has no meaning.

If words didn’t mean anything, we wouldn’t need to speak nor write.

Words are everything.
